Oakfern, the Lunar Passage
Amadán
The river current continued to rush by, but Amadán felt a certain joy in seeing the young doe no longer seem anxious, but rather fascinated. He found himself smiling back when Maren looked up at him again, nodding understandingly at her gesture. Having always been a wordy stag, he was coming to appreciate her other means of communicating.
Gazing ahead, the end of the bridge was approaching a few feet ahead. “O-our herd is very b-blessed, to b-be able to w-wield water,” he added earnestly, a last note of h

Oakfern, Gealach’s Eyes
Maren
Although the weather was warming above ground, in the caves it was just as chilly as ever. Despite the cold, however, the warmth seemed to creep into the hearts of some of the Oakfern residents. Many were revisiting old relationships and spending time with family at the Moonpool. Maren saw this as she turned down the tunnels to Gealach’s Eyes. She trotted down the short passage, soon arriving in the large clearing where all different shamans had gathered.
A few older shamans were teaching those in training, so Maren walked over to listen to the rest of the less

Cypress
Though a chill still hung in the air, spring was obviously on its way. It was evident in the way flowers popped up from under white blankets of snow. Even the gruffest of soldiers had a spring in their step. The same was true for Cypress. He had been sent to help guard the herd as they settled in the Silverwood. A few young fawns with their mothers lagged behind as they approached, but most of the does and stags had already arrived and started to settle. A few young fillies stood to the side watching some sparring colts, a

Dry grass. That’s all that the buck saw in front of him. Dry grass and the line of trees far in the distance. This autumn was sure to be a warm one. Warm and dry. The kind of dry that makes your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth and leaves your throat raw when you wake up. That’s what it felt like, even in the middle of the day. The buck’s shoulder fur was stiff with dried tears. Not his own, but his mother’s and young sisters’ tears. For today was the day he left to
Eethna
The morning sun had risen to the centre of the sky; Grian casting her warm light over the width and breadth of Silverthorne. Just on the outskirts of the herd, Eethna grazed languidly and unhurriedly. The summer sun was dappling against the dark of her hide and she sighed contentedly. She had found a newfound calm since travelling to the Five Trees, and a surety within herself.
Eethna raised her head, still chewing a rather large mouthful of grass slowly. Absently, she recalled that she had promised to visit her mother that afternoon, however, she knew the red doe was in a harem all the way on the other side of the large herd, and th
Hello everyone! I hope you all get this.
Anyway, I'm very sorry about my lack of activity and not responding to my Fawnling role plays. The past few months have been completely insane, and I barely have time/brain power for school. One of my closest friends was diagnosed with leukemia just over two months ago. He is in remission, but he has had many rare complications. Then my great-grandma got sick and passed away. Plus we've had band concert after band concert as well as jazz band auditions. I've been helping to pack up the band room since we're moving it in a few days. It's finals week right now, and, all that to say, I need a break. An o

Just some constructive criticism, I am not trying to sound mean. But I think you should have neater backgrounds, the coloring looks just a little sloppy. I feel like it will bring out more of the quality in your art pieces. I'm really glad that I found another great artist to watch, though!
